Kirstie Summers - Nursery Manager
Kirstie embarked on her journey in Early Years in 2002 after completing a degree in Social Inclusion. Starting as a Nursery Practitioner, earning her Level 3 and 5 qualifications in Childcare while working. Over the years, Kirstie advanced through various roles, from Nursery Practitioner to Room Leader and Deputy Manager. Most recently, served as a Deputy Manager at a day centre for the National Autistic Society, where she supported autistic adults and completed a Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
What Kirstie enjoys most about her job is building relationships with both the children and the parents, and helping children to reach their full potential.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with my friends and family, reading and attending concerts.
To support her, Kirstie has a highly qualified and experienced team. Her staff are dedicated to giving young children the care and attention they need to aid their social, emotional and intellectual development.
Our nursery workers are up to Level 5 qualified in Childcare and Education or are working towards or beyond this qualification. We offer training and continued professional development to all employees.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All our employees undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Every member of staff is trained in paediatric first aid and child protection, giving you added peace of mind.
