Alice Hastings - Interim Nursery Manager
We are delighted to welcome Alice as the Interim Nursery Manager at Little Trees Christchurch. A qualified primary school teacher, Alice feels that teaching comes naturally to her and is an important part of her own personal and professional development.
Alice began her journey with Little Trees five years ago, joining as bank staff to develop her early years knowledge. Since then, she has worked across Little Trees Lansdown and Christchurch, progressing from Early Years Educator to Deputy Manager, and now Interim Manager. Her journey reflects her dedication, commitment, and willingness to grow within Dean Close Little Trees.
Alice’s desire to help others and support both staff and children is one of her greatest strengths, allowing her to shine in her leadership role. What she loves most about Little Trees is that no two days are ever the same. She finds great joy in sharing first-hand experiences with children, supporting their individual needs, and being involved in creative, fun, and engaging activities.
To support her, our Christchurch team are experienced and highly qualified. The staff are dedicated to giving young children the care and attention they need to aid their social, emotional and intellectual development.
Our nursery workers are up to Level 5 qualified in Childcare and Education or are working towards or beyond this qualification. We offer training and continued professional development to all employees.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All our employees undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Every member of staff is trained in paediatric first aid and child protection, giving you added peace of mind.
